Medco
33 Topics Foundi have a prescription for oxcodone and the area where i live will not fill due to the fact that i live in one part of the city and the doctor's office is in another part of the city. For instance in the city of santa monica ca the pharmacy like cvs, walgreens, will not fill just that one medication. they want all your meds. I take testostone, also and my insurance did cover it but now they dont. ## I have a prescription for 30 milligram oxycodone qty 100 that I wasn't able to fill while I was in Tmpa. DEA refuse to allow all CVS & other pharmacies to Carrie the drug.
Walgreens said and I quote , " corporate tells us not to refer mail order to patients taking controlled substances/Schedule ll Narcotics. Walgreens does provide a mailorder for your specific prescription needs such as oxycodone. You will need Group insurance through Blue cross blue shield or through United Health Care. Medco will tell you we can fill oxycodone but you have to have Group" insurance. ## So does this mean if I have. United health care group coverage, & live in Florida, I can get all my meds including oxycodone mail ordered through med-co? Is this a 30 day supply or 90? I meet this criteria, & am currantly taking opana ir & er, & they are causing insomnia, & I'm sleepy allthe time. With little pain relief. But its all I can take, & contin...
Medco (mail away pharmacy for Blue Cross Federal) continues to tell me and my physician that these products are discontinued. The samples of your products given to me by Dr. J. Renee Moneyhun, Rockville, MD do work. Some better than others, but they work. Can you tell me why they continue to do this.
I take Ergotamine for headaches. I get my meds thru Medco. My insurance pays most of the cost for generics. Last time Medco said they didn't have Ergotamine in stock (first time that has ever happened over the years.) They said they would need to send me Cafergot, the brand name. It costs me 10 times more. I need to know why I can not get Ergotamine.?? ## Same problem with caffergot or its generic ergotan/caff. Wally World used to charge $5 for a generic. Now they say they cannot get a generic. The real caffergot cost $300. ## Unfortunately, shortages sometimes happen, or a manufacture discontinues a medication, and while it is problematic, there's really nothing we can do about it. The typical side effects of this medication may include nausea, insomnia, dizziness, and dry mout...
Ia Lunesta a controlled substance. Medco is only refilling it once when my doctor prescribed it for 12 months ## The reason they are doing that has nothing to do with the drug class, it actually could be due to one of two reasons: Your insurance and what they cover. Most insurance companies set up a certain list of drugs they will cover and how often and they will not allow refills on some items that they do not consider necessary for long-term use, you will need to see your doctor for a refill or have them phone one in whenever you need one. They also don't want to be laying out the money to cover regular refills every 30days on a drug that you might not be using that often or you might stop taking after awhile. Another possible reason has to do with how your doctor prescribes it, ...
I mailed a prescription into Medco and they never recieved it. I mailed it from my home mailbox. I want to know if there is anyway I can trace the RX to find out where (if) it was filled somewhere. ## That's ONE of the reasons to get a PO BOX! Mailboxs' outside your home is always watch by somebody. Sorry but I have to say it, you are stupid. ## Bless your heart. The world, it seems, must not have been very kind to you, so far. I hope that changes. ## The only way it could really be traced easily is if it were a prescription for a controlled substance, since all of those are logged into government databases. If that were the case, you could have your doctor make an inquiry, but it could still take awhile to get an answer. However, if it is not for a controlled substance, then th...
You are completely right about Torrent manufactured generic Ambien. I am also using Medco but they had been sending me a white football shaped pill for generic Ambien 10 mg, that worked okay, not really that good, just okay. Then this month they sent me this peach colored oblong shaped pill with 3 dots on one side and 10 mg on the other and I haven't been able to get to sleep at all this month. I don't understand why anyone would do this to people who can't sleep. Not being able to get to sleep for weeks makes a person crazy. ## My orange pill from Medco mostly works pretty well, but a pharmacist said that a generic manufactured by "Dr, Reddy" was a better brand name to ask for. ## I usually get 10mg round white generic ambien, new pharm tech gave me peach oblong thi...
Having a hard time getting my insurance company to pay for my Provigil; United Healthcare, Medco. They say I can pay for it but that is full price ast several hundred dollars per month. Any suggestions? I had not success with Nuvigil. ## Hi David, Insurance companies can sure be a pain! Have you considered looking for various prescription coupons for this drug? It may be worth while to give it a try in the meantime. One webpage I came across has a coupon that you can print out and give to your pharmacy for a generous discount on any prescription that is over $4.00. There seems to be a number of sites that offer these types of coupons and many users on the forums here have declared their valid legitimacy. Here is one which this site offers: RX Discount Card Please post back if it does or...
tablets for heart ## is there ashortage of coreg?is something wrong with this drug?i am told by medco that its no longer available. thanks ## Coreg contains the active ingredient Carvedilol, it is often listed under the active ingredient, since it is now available as a generic. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, increased urination, and hypotension. Shortages tend to come and go, so they usually eventually rectify and the medication becomes available, again. Is there anything else I can help with?
I ordered a 90 day supply of Darvocet (Propoxyphene Nap + Apap Tab. from Medco (Mail order) Right after they recalled this drug. Am I entitled to a full refund from the manufacturer Teva? ## The recall and any refund should be handled by the company you ordered from, in this case Medco. Then they should handle the issue with getting their money back from Teva, when they return the unused medications to them. Thus, you should check with Medco on what their refund policy is for such situations. If it was sent to you after the recall, they shouldn't have sent it to you, at all. This, of course, only applies to anything ordered with a legitimate prescription. If someone orders without one, then it is a whole other ball game. Have you tried contacting Medco? ## Thank you Verwon. I did tr...

I have been taking Zolpidem 10 mg for several months for insomnia. It mostly works pretty well. I got a new supply from my insurance (Medco) and instead of white, the pill is pale orange. Is there is reasonable explanation for this? ## I also got the pale orange pills. They are not working nearly as good. I am waking up in the middle of the night. I called medco and they said there have been a number of compliants and they are looking in to this new supplier. ## Thanks for sharing your experience. I never could get a straight answer from Medco. The new ones seem to work about as well as the others - For the last several weeks they haven't done for me what they used to. Hope they are the kind that requires more and more to have effect. ## There are no rules saying that all generics m...
Zolpidem Tartrate 10mg possibly defective? I take 1.5 to 2 tabs for me to get a therapeutic effect equivalent to the white generics I used to get from Medco. We used to call it "Buffing." Looking at the mold marks on the Torrent brand. A square with four dots inside it remind me of Mexican counterfeit tab impressions manufactured in latex or silicone hand pressed molds. The mark is not sharp and clear that I have seen elsewhere. The 10 Mg on the other side of the tab seems well imprinted? The yellow/orange pigment used in the tab....diluted yellow road paint? ## I agree. It felt like it was diluted. Now I ask my doctor for Teva -- never Torrent. It just seems weak somehow. ## Torrent Ambien is a scam. I think they dilute it....The company should be investigated... ## If you have...
I too have taken 850 mg Zyd tabs dispensed from Walmart. My A1c went from 6.0 to 7.1 with no change in diet and exercise. They also have an odd taste. I just switched to 850 mg made by Sun dispensed from Medco/Express scripts and after 3 days my Glucose is now back to the 120's. For me I found Zyd ineffective. There are differences in the generics. If one brand doesn't work for you try another before you give up on Metformin altogether. ## You are correct, there can be differences and that does make them less effective for some people. You may want to double check in the future, when you get a refill, to make sure that you don't get the one from Zydus, again. Is there anything I can help with?
I understand generic ambien cr is available. ## couild I order some ambien cr for my insomnia ## Yes, Ambien CR generic is now available. I have yet checked with my pharmecy but the drug coverage company MEDCO sent me documetntation that it is available. It's been a god sent for me,I've had insomina my whole life!
Trazodone was prescribed for sleep. I am suppose to take 2 at bedtime. This pill has Dan on one side & 5599 on the other. It is a round white pill. I just received my 3 months supply from Medco. These pills are a white round tablet w/ Barr on one side and 555/490 on the other. Could you tell me if they are the same medication. ## Just to clarify for anyone else looking for information, the prescribed medication and the pills received with the BARR 555 490 on them were and are the same thing, 100mg Trazodone tablets, the medication was not changed. (NDC 0555-0490) These people were just provided tablets made by a different company, but they were not given a different medication. And no, it should not cause hangover like aftereffects, since it actually an antidepressant that just cau...
I lost my job, and my prescription coverage ran out before my refil. I found a few indipendant providors.. even tried one out... it worked great on my norco - but they want almost $600 for 90 30mg tabs. I was paying $60 with medco anyone have any clue of a provider, or discount program? ## try looking on the internet and look for una rx card or also uni rx card you can sign up online and print off the card at home it gives real good discounts on almost all meds hope it helps ## Purdue actually has an assistance program for people in need of Oxycontin, who do not have insurance and meet the income guidelines. These types of programs usually provide the medications at no cost, for those with low incomes, or on a sliding fee scale to others. I use one from a different company for a blood p...

I'm a long term user of zolpidem. Whenever I forget to take this medicine I have horrible dreams, sweats and a poor night's sleep. With zolpidem I sleep very well.I guess I should continue zolpidem indefinitely as long as my doctor approves. Also, MEDCO is now sending me pale orange zolpidem instead of white. How can I tell it's zolpidem? ## Medco changed zolpidem to a orange pill made by Torrent Pharm. Please call Medco as i have, and tell them this pill sucks.don't work..Apotex used to be what you got,as i did for 15 years.they no longer carry it!!! ## Your body is most likely used to you taking the medication, so you experience some minor withdrawal effects, if you skip a dose. That is normal, and happens with anything we ingest regularly. The FDA lists the typical side...
