The one with the M over 2 is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and they list it as containing 50mgs of Metoprolol. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypertension. As to one without any markings, we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, but it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. If there are no markings on it, it is most likely something that's available over the counter, since all manufactured prescription tablets are required to have markings to enable their identification. Based on your description, the only remote match I've seen is an Acetaminophen (300mg) + Codeine phosphate (30mg) tablet. It's a white round pill with a large (centered) 3 on one side and the back has a score line with "2064" on top and "V" on the bottom.
