I was seizures/conversions 2 yrs back, then i was alcoholic & after discontinuing the same i was facing problem of fearness, conversions, lack of confidence etc. (withdrawal syptoms said Dr.) and with some other medicine like zenoxa 450, Cen-Pharm-S, Lam Plus H etc. was given to me. I want to know what will be the side effect of Lam Plus H and how many days I will have to continue these medicnes ? Now I am away from alcohol, but want to be permantly non-alcoholic, whether there is any medine for it (with no side effect)? Pl. let me know on my e-mail id.

Can Lamotrigine 150 be cut in quarters to lower the dose? I have many 150mg left and would like to use them up if I can cut into quarters. Please advise. ## Unless your doctor, pharmacist, or specific medication instructions state otherwise, it is safe to do this with any medication that isn't time released. In many cases, our doctors prescribes a higher dose for us, then just has use cut, or break the tablets, since there can be a more significant financial savings by doing so. Lamotrigine is most commonly used to help prevent seizures, and treat some types of depression. Losing faith in my Psychiatrist. Only solution seems to be new or increased meds. Rapid Cycling Bipolar and Anxiety are not controlled after trying > 2 dozen RXs and many combos & dosages since dx (6yrs). Daily Regimen in mg: 2k fish oil, highest EPA/DHA I can find; 750 in am+900 in pm LiCO3; 5k Vit D; Multi Vitamin; 200 in am Lamotrigine; 1mg Requip @ bed (R.L.S.); 300 in pm Seroquel XR. Can't go any higher on Seroquel it puts me so deep to sleep I can't wake up before 9am even when I take it at 7pm and bed down at 9pm, and I'm groggy at least till 11am. Even at 300mg, I have to get asleep by 2 hrs post-dose or I get all weak (can't walk) and nausea. It won't wake me up though. Have tried with and without the Requip, noting no difference. Began taking morphine in 2013. Thought my Addictions were behind me with family happy as I was. 6 months later on a dosage of 140 mg daily I’d gained 40 lbs, legs were swollen from arthritis and all I could eat was sugared cereal and drumsticks. Who has had successful or as close as possible ,drug for treating bipolar . I have been down the list and eventually they don't work anymore . I have use lithium tegretol lamictin topamax . I am on neurontin and take cymbalta -the horror drug - I can't get off it the discontinuation symptoms drive me staight back to taking it . Have been off it for 14 days and the pain in root of nose plus continuos heavy salivation left me dehydrated and no pain meds work. The symptoms and pain dissapear within 1/2 hour of taking cymbalta ! I have been on antidepressants, Cymbalta, Lamictal, Ambien & Klonopin. I'm am currently off ambien now and weaning Klonopin, soon to be off. No complaints. My only trouble with Trazodone is major headaches. I do stress exercises daily for chronic low back pain and surgery for l1 fracture. I've just come off five 10/325 norco to 15 mg ms contin 3 a day. My pain is better but not fully controlled. I'm very aware of addiction and dependence, so the less controlled substance the better. What I'm looking for is advice. Is anyone taking these two drugs together? My pharmacist is concerned, but both my Gastroenterologist (who prescribed it for IBS) and Psychiatrist are not concerned as I have no history of seizures. I also take Lamictal for bipolar, which was originally an anti-seizure drug. I feel depression for last couple of days doctor prescribed me lam plus half at the time of feeling depression. I m taking it after every third or fourth day is it safe for me and how much time i can take it.
