I have run out of my soma prescription. I usually take 2-3 at a time. How many 10mg flexeril would be an equivalent dosage? ## From what I could gather, Soma is definitely considered to be the stronger of the two. However, since both medications can effect each person differently and I don't know your pain tolerance, medical history, etc, it would be unethical for anyone other than your doctor to try and tell you how much you should be taking to ease your pain. Your heart is a muscle too. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable taking so much of a powerful muscle relaxer before resorting to other pain management options. Robaxin 500mg compaired to Flexeril 10mg, are they considered the same strength or which one is stronger? ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol and Flexeril contains Cyclobenzaprine. The Flexeril is generally much more mild, so 10mgs of it would not be equal to the 800mg dosage of Robaxin. Soma is the strongest muscle relaxant available, but it doesn't work for everyone that tries it. I had much better results with Zanaflex and Flexeril. my mom has been taking somas and her doctor changed her meds and she is skeptical of new medicene. ## no baclofen is not exactly the same as soma. they are both muscle relaxers but baclofen is a little stronger. i had been on soma and flexeril for over two years and now they have switched me to baclofen. it does work alot better for muscle spasms ## Am wanting to know at what rate baclofen treatment can be tapered off and the risk affects if stopped abruptly ## baclofen work alot better than soma it really releives the pain quicker than soma. ## IMy doctor just gave me Baclodol 5mg/300mg carisoprodol (soma). I've been taking the muscle relaxers flexeril 10mg 2x a day and or methocarbamol 750mg 3-4x a day. Neither of them work. What is the strongest relaxer I can ask my dr for.
