I've been taking the generic for Lamictal for about five years. Recently I've been feeling different at about the beginning of the year. I use to take the white ones but now I am taking a generic by Taro. What is the best generic for this drug? I never really payed any attention until I started getting this crazy migraines. My doctor will not prescribe generic Wellbutrin XL but my insurance will no longer pay for brand name drugs. I will have to pay about $7000 per yer for what I am taking now (3 of the 150mg Wellbutrin XL brand name per day). I am reading that the problem with the generics is the time release mechanism and not the drug itself and that some are better than others. I have severe hypertension. I am 76 yrs old. I am allergic to most BP medicine, with horrible side effects. I am on clonidine three times a day with a 1 mg lorazepam. It was working well until my pharmacy changed manufacturers. I was getting Sandoz. Since I have had Qualitest and Watson generic and they do absolutly nothing, even if I take 3 at a time. For instance, if you received one prescription from one doctor and the other from a different doctor, it is going to be considered fraudulent to have them both filled. Generally, the only way it would be acceptable to have them both filled is if you'd gone to a doctor and were prescribed the lower dose one, had it filled, discovered it wasn't strong enough to handle your pain, then returned to inform them of that and as a result they prescribed the higher dosage. I've been taking generic Cymbalta Duloxetine for 6 months, since my insurance quit paying for the brand name. I've found that it made me more tired and more depressed. My insurance coverage doesn't allow for me to use the Name brand Detrol LA, so they have substituted the generic form. I have found that it doesn't work. I find I am running to the bathroom just as often as before the on the generic. The name brand did work fine. A little frustrating. The generics should be required to work the same way before being mandated to be a comparable substitute. Hi. The pharmacist gave my mom her refill on her zolpidem and she didn't really pay attention and thought it was a new prescription for sleeping since it was a peachy orange color. I am so sad to hear of the American people on here the hell they go through to find a good doctor or a pharmacy that'll fill their scripts (especially pain medications) I can't fathom why it's like that and why u pay so much. Australia is way different, the doctors bulk bill in other words Medicare pay for many ppl's consultations and if u do pay you have private health ins you pay 70 and get 50 back the same day from your ins or if u pag u can go straight to Medicare and get the rebate. Also, your doctor here is happy to ring a pharmacy, ask if they have what the patient needs and tells them the patient is on their way. Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)!
