Do you need to take for awhile to work for anxiety? Did nothing for me at 50 mg ## This medication usually does start working within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it. Did you experience any of the known side effects listed by the FDA, such as dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth? My doctor prescribed the liquid hydrocodone/APA 7.5-500mg/15ml to me for pain. The pharmacy label says to take 1 TEASPOON every 6 hours. This seems unusual given that this dosage seems to be most often given in 15ml doses as opposed to the 5ml in a teaspoon. I took 7.25/325 of hydrocodone every 4-6 hrs for pain and after 9 yrs of treatment under a Doctor's care alone with spinal injections every 3 months for 9 yrs.
