Can hifenac mr cause side effects if taken by a heart patient.my father is a heart patient and two years back he was prescribed a pain killer ( name of the medicine can't be re called) for his severe back pain which caused asthma like symptoms in him like shortness of breath.currently he is suffering from severe back pain again and has been prescribed hifenac mr twice a day.so he is a little doubtful in starting the medication worrying it might cause the same side effects.pleasse let me know if it's safe to take the medicine.thank you

I am taking Hifenac sr for past 6 months continuously (one tab per day) for my accute pain on my shoulders & back pain due to spondilytis. There is disk degeneration on C6, C7 & L4 & L5 . So is it safe to continue this medicine for long? What are the possible side effects?

I am taking Hifenac SR for knee joint pain. How long can I use it and are there any side effects? What are the advantages and disadvantages of taking it? ## I have severe back and neck pain now. I am aged 54. I had a by pass surgery in Jan 2007. I had kidney stones and they were removed in Sep 2008. I suffered from Galblader stones and the stones and galblader was removed in 1994. I am having severe back pain travelling to abdomen. Tried several pain killers like Diclofenac and HIfenac-D, Nicoxia MR but when i take Nimessulide (Nice) it helps in drastically reducing the pain. Wonder why Nimesulide helps and other pain killers are not that effective ? Can i take Nimesulide for long term ? ## Have you had any testing done to see what's causing the pain? what are the uses ## Good morning, I am a victim of migraine (serious Headache), once I visited one of the neurologists, he advised be to take Hifenac TA when ever you will encountered with heavy headache. So when I start using it is like magic. I mean when ever I get heavy headache one tab is enough to refresh myself, so normally 5 to 7 tab in month. I have Hifenac-P100mg with Paracetamol-325mg and Compifalm 500mg. I am having pain in the heels and slight swelling .I have taken compiflam twice a dayfor three days. But the pain is still there. Shall I take Hifenac tablets for better effect? ## You should take whatever medication your doctor has instructed you to take. They both carry the risk of causing the same side effects, which the NIH lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
