Random question...I have a place where I keep all my meds and I was bedridden today so my dad had to get my dose for today for me. I had a sub in there and he was supposed to give me my Oxycodone today. I am sure he gave me the sub by accident. I took it at 11am does anyone know how long the half life of that would be so I know when my Oxycodone will work again? I am hurting pretty badly! I've never taken subs before so I don't know a thing about them. ## It usually takes about 3 days, before other opiates will work for you, again. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

I have been taking subs for 4 yrs off the street.now i am in a program to eventually get my own prescription. The catch is i have to have all bup.out of my system b4 doc will write script..here's my question: if subs have a 36 hr half life snd ive been on them everyday for 4 yrs how is it even possible to b out of my system in a few days? Does it build up over time? Or is it legit 36 hrs after last dose? ? PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN ## It will take about 3-5 days to get outta your piss. How long does ramipril stay in the body? ## How long does this stay in your body after you stop it? ## Hello, According to the FDA and NIH ramipril has a half life cycle of 3-16 hours and since it takes normally 4 to 6 half lifes for the drug to completely leave your body you are looking at between 12-96 hours, which a huge gap. Out of curiosity why do you need to know? Most people ask this question to determine when the earliest they can take a different medication is. If that's the reason for your question I would suggest waiting the maximum estimated half life of 96 hours before you take the conflicting medication just to be safe. I just took my last two pills of day one of this medrol pack. My doctor prescribed it for the inflammation in my throat. I felt good all day but after taking these last two this evening, I'm feeling some chest tightness. Is this normal? I have been taking doxycycline for 8 days for an autoimmune issue, but I think I am having a reaction. After much research, I understand Alprazolam's (Xanax) half life is approximately 11 hours, correct? So, as an example, if a person took a 1 mg dose of xanax, it would be down to .5 milligrams in their system after the approximate 11 hours? I know there are a lot of other factors too, such as age, weight, metabolism, etc., but can anyone help me understand how you would figure up approximately how much would be in someone's system going by half lives and if they took multiple doses? what is the effective half life and absorption rate expected for carb/levo extended release 50/200 mg tab mylan? ## Elimination half-life of levodopa in the presence of carbidopa is about 1.5 hours. Following Carbidopa and Levodopa extended-release, the apparent half-life of levodopa may be prolonged because of continuous absorption. The extended-release formulation releases levodopa and carbidopa over a 4-6 hour period. I'm not quite sure what this equates to in terms of half life. But to be safe I would estimate the half-life to last an extra couple hours. As far as absorption rate goes, the extended release tabs have a bioavailability rate of 0.70 to 0.75. The approx. amount of bioavailable Levodopa in each tab is 140 to 150mg out of the 200mg pill. I hope this helps!

Hi, I was given Invega Sustenna at 100mg a month for 10 months since Dec 5th. My last shot was on August 29th 2013. The medication gave me severe anhedonia and I have lost the motivation and willpower to do anything. I can no longer experience joy, happiness, or pleasure from anything I do and I have no interest in doing anything. I constantly feel restless and uneasy and I just can't shake this feeling away no matter what. All of these started about a week after my first IV. I have been on Subs for about 2 years now and really want off of them! However now i am reading that Sub Withdraws are worse than the Oxycodone i had been taking. which only makes sense because of the half life and what not of Suboxone. I do not really want to taper down because i am just Horrible at such a thing which is why i started taking Suboxone in the first place! My Dr should really have told me to only take it for the first 2-4 weeks. I have been on oxytocin 80 mg, 4 a day and decided I would try suboxon for 5 days my life has been filled with energy and no pain, I have no more yet. After by pass surgery of heart, the surgeon prescribed clopivas ap 150 for life long use. I take it at noon after food. But it causes severe gas trouble, and I find even breathing difficult. Methadone can work, it has worked for me. I haven't had opiates in over 10 years and have no craving at all for it, Thank God! It has worked and I no longer need or want opiates, but here I am over a decade down the line a slave to a chemist, after my partner died suddenly, with an aneurysm 4 years ago.
