Found a dark grey oblong pill. No imprint and no lines. Not a capsule. Red and gray solid retangle pill Red ## Do you mean that it has an L imprint on it? If so, while it's hard to be completely certain, because over the counter product markings tend to be very vague, I believe this may be a generic or store brand of Tylenol, which contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen.

(NDC 00045-0229) Manufacturer: McNeil Consumer Healthcare The imprint "TY S CP" stands for "Tylenol Sinus Congestion & Pain Daytime" ## I am not 100% certain, but it sounds like a Tylenol Rapid Release, they all have the TY marking, followed by other markings on the other color. The gray band is meant to allow the medication to release faster, so you don't have to wait as long for them to work. All manufactured prescription medications are required, by law, to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Compounding pharmacies do use capsules, but they are plain capsules, not ones of several color variations. And among over the counter products, there are quite a few possibilities. I found two large grey capsuls with no identifying print on them. They are from a Prescription my husband took at one time for gout, I believe. No Print at all on them. ## If there are no markings on them, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what they contain. We can rule them out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription drug, because they are all required to have an imprint to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products that are marketed to help treat, or prevent gout. Does anyone else have any ideas?

The manufacturer (Teva's) description of the pill is as follows: "Each hard gelatin capsule, with opaque green cap and opaque grey body, imprinted with black ink "novo" on cap and "10" on opposing cap and body portions of the capsule, contains fluoxetine hydrochloride equivalent to fluoxetine 10 mg." the capsule that is dark blue, a stripe of grey, then light blue has l829 imprinted on the dark part of the capsule. capsule contains a greyish unmarked oblong pill ## I can't find a listing for this, but I am sure that's because this ones with the marking of an L followed by 3 additional numbers are over the counter products, they are sold by many different stores, worldwide, as the store brands or generics of common over the counter items. From the description, this is probably something like Tylenol PM or Advil PM in a rapid release formulation.
