Granules
100+ Topics FoundI have found on three occasions (first two I thought was manufacturer's quality assurance trouble), what appears to be a tan capsule with blue granulars. I didn't see the capsule in tact. The first time, I thought it was the tip of a glove from the manufacturer's plant. I then realized (6 months later... TODAY) that it is indeed a capsule that swelled up from water in my water bottle and contains blue granulars (first time the gransulars evaporated onto the capsule, which I thought was blue ink from the water bottle company). I think someone is slipping something into my water bottles! Any idea what a tan capsule with blue granulars are? ## Unfortunately, short of your paying to have it lab tested, it is going to be very difficult to determine that it contains, without knowi...

So I believe to answer your question about which one is the statin, it would be the Atorvastatin. As Verwon stated, you might want to speak with your doctor about being prescribed just Atorvastatin by itself...
Capsule yellow/clear. white granules ## This is Indomethacin Sustained Release 75mgs, a generic for Indocin, this is a Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory. The problem here is that this is an older pill, it was manufactured by Able Labs, who were shut down in May 2005 by the FDA for poor quality control. Some of their meds have no active ingredient, and some had too much, resulting in dangerous amounts in some of their pills and capsules. So your best bet would be to FLUSH this one.

If you're intending to separate them, doing so yourself is probably not a good idea. Filed under ArginineI dont know the shape or the colour of the capsule , but I know that it contains small black granules. Blue and white capsule with red and black in the middle. Inside are small granules. Can you tell what over the counter med. It is? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? I'm sorry, but no. The colors don't mean anything and are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Without markings, it could be any one of a large number of possibilities. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this capsule?
This is an old prescription from 1986. The yellow/clear capsule has gray, green, and white granules inside. The inscription is a stylized Z, followed by 2981. The label on the bottle says only "PRO ISO" and "1 every 12 hours for abdominal pain." I don't have a pill ID chart that goes back far enough to ID this medication. ## Hello, Skip! How are you? I'm sorry, but I don't have anything that goes back that far, either and I can only assume this medication has been discontinued, because my general searches also turned up nothing. Does anyone else recognize this medication? I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.

The colored dots are hypoallergenic coloring. The DEA has has pharmaceutical manufacturers add different colors to some narcotics. When they turn up in drug crimes they can pick out the granules and analyze the chemical structure with out destroying evidence and tracing it back to its distribution point. Long answer short, it's the government spying on you. ## No, that's not what hypoallergenic coloring means, hypoallergenic just means that it's not known to cause allergic reactions in the largest percentage of the population. They are not traceable. The markings on medications are what's traceable. Are there any questions or concerns that I can help with?
