For Eye Pain

I took my last dose this afternoon. I was given this for a uti. About 3 days in i stareted feeling awful....nausea, sweats, body aches. However i really just wanted my uti gone, and it was to late to call dr. Now my eyes really hurt, I have a small spot on both my eyes....I am wondering if this will go away now that i have finished meds or do i need to follow up with dr? ## It never hurts to have such issues checked out by your doctor, there is a chance these symptoms may go away, according to NIH reports, but there is a chance they might be unrelated. Has there been any change, so far? Are you on any other medications? Has your UTI cleared up? What do you mean by a spot, is it a floater, or a spot that is always present?

i have pain in my right eye,it has been affecting me for a long time i recently got perscribed neurobion and indometacin,since i started taking them i have seen a lot of improvement. for how long can i use neurobion does it cause vitamin toxicity if used for long term ## Yes, it can if you get too much, so you need to be careful and have your levels checked regularly, while using it. I started taking Macrobid for a UTI, I only took one pill yesterday and one today. This afternoon my right eye hurts and waters some. I have had dry eye issues in the eye previously. I am also female and 62 years old. Will this go away when I quit the Macrobid? ## It might not, actually, according to the FDA, this medication has been known to cause optic neuritis, which can sometimes result in permanent damage to the optic nerve. It would be best to have this checked, because you may need to switch to a different medication. Have you experienced any other side effects?

I am on 200mg of gabapentin, 2weeks into it, keep getting heavy eye ache, plus temple pains , should be updoseing soon but ? don't rearly no ## Hello, Sue22! How are you? Those can be normal side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain. Once you're on one steady dose for about a month, they should taper off and eventually go away entirely. If not, then you should inform your doctor as it may not be the right medication for you. I’m on Humira (adalimumab) for RA joint pain and would like to know how other people are doing on it? I’m doing great. ## So very glad that it is working so well for you! As with any medication, there are those, such as you, that have had great results using it, and some that haven't had such good luck. Have you experienced any of the listed side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle pain, or any others that the FDA warns about? ## The only side effect I get is blurry vision which I don’t like but that could also be coming from the RA or fibro, or prednisone.It’s hard to tell which is causing it. Has anyone had Botox injections for eye twiching? I have and they did not use numbing while injecting into my eye lids and surrounding eyes. I was wondering why they can not numb the area? ## I have. My daughter is disabled, non verbal and has severe self hitting behavior issues. She is blind due to retina detachment. She got multiple surgeries for retina reattachment. She still has silicon oil in her eyes to hold the retina in place. From the last two years she has been complaining about some kind of pain but not sure where the pain could be. She tries to punch her head and ears a lot. She is getting treatment by doctors for pain relief but it is not helping. I cant take subutex of any form because I'm allergic to it, and I was on methadone for the four yrs about. But both the doctors are retired.
