I got an appointment tomorrow to pick up my oxycodone 10mg and I also got an appointment to start my first dose of suboxone. I almost passed away in 2012..I saved someone's life and my head was smashed. I had to learn to walk and talk properly again and have continual pain. I get a script for roxicodone monthly from my doctor..pcp. I also see a dr that does a laser on my right eye and face...I had horrible double vision and was supposed to lose the eye. I barely see double out of it at all now but it seems to of plateaued and won't get better. I get a prescription of oxycodone 30 mg from my doctor. But now he says that DEA said that he only can prescribe only half of what I was getting. It's not only me but all of his people that he sees. My question is can I go to another doctor and get percocet 10s since its not the same thing and mg and not get in trouble for doctor shopping? I live in Alabama. ## Yes, that would still be considered doctor shopping. I am looking for feedback from others re: experiences with Adderall (both XR and standard release) and compulsive shopping as a side effect. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do? Did you find an alternative drug for ADHD that did not cause this in you? ## I don't know if the compulsive shopping is as much a side effect as maybe that the adderall is changing your impulse control? I need a dr. in kannapolis n.c. or surrounding area that will actually help me and not look down upon me for needin klonopin.i have took them perscibed in the past and it truley makes my panic/anxiety under control,so does anyone know a decent dr. Please if you do help. ## Perhaps try a neurologist specializing in movement disorders (Parkinson's, MS, etc). Or a sleep disorder specialist. Not sure if there are subspecialists for panic attacks. You may have to go to a midsized city to find just the right one. Don't go to several however...I have heard they might think you are doctor shopping. If you work, and this problem keeps you from your daily routine, be sure to mention that. Be careful about the generic taken. I'd recommend only Actavis brand at this point.

I've been taking 100mg espiride every day now for 4 months after a dramatic incident at a shopping centre where my handbag was stolen. It really helps to calm me down but have gained, 10kg since. How do I go of this,without any side affects. ## There is a risk of side effects and withdrawal effects, anytime you start and stop taking a medication. The NIH lists the withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, anxiety, and rebound depression. It would be best not to stop it, without your doctor's approval and assistance. Are you on any other medications?

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. PM Doc put me on Hysingla 40mg, works great but a real pain to find a drug store that had it or would order it. Search all major drug stores from Hammond La to Mandeville La. Finally was able to fill at a new independent place that just opened in the shopping center adjacent to Win Dixe on Hwy 21 in Covington La. I believe it's Laytons Phamacy. They were able to fill it in one day. ## I'm very glad that you finally found it. Most drug stores can't order it in, because they are limited in how much they can order and stock of controlled substances each month. I need to find a doctor in Clay City, In. that will prescribe percocet. ## Why do people need Percocet/oxycodone? I have been reading a lot of posts and I see people Dr. shopping. In order to get pain meds/narcotics/controlled substances, you must go to a licensed Pain Clinic. You have to sign a pain contract, take a U/A every two months and can only get your pain meds from your Pain Clinic. Family doctors, family medical practices and even Sports medicine Centers as well only prescribed Percocet for a very short period of time. An example is when I get a tooth pulled I get 17 Percocet which is enough to last for five days and then your tooth should be healed. Started Contrave 7 days ago. On the very first morning (2nd dose) I was so sleepy. Like exhausted-sleepy from shopping for 2 hours. I am in Huntington Beach CA and this situation is out of control regarding filling prescriptions for oxycodone or any other pain pills for that matter. Do authorities not realize that the people IN PAIN simply cannot drive around 'pharmacy shopping' because they are in pain. So the people getting the pain meds are the ones generally that are not in so much pain or are in fact the ones that then turn around and sell them on the street. duh?!
