I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. I have already had 2 back surgeries as well as numerous IV's and still with no relief. I have degenerative disc disease, 3 herniated discs and one completely gone. I'm in constant pain and nothing helps. I was seeing a doctor that was prescribing 90-180 oxycodone 30mg for almost a year until one day he up and closed his practice with no notice. Suffering in chronic pain every day of my life. Dx Herniated disk in neck, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, bursitis. Received letter in mail the other day from pain dr saying he no longer will see me or give me my prescriptions and to find another dr. because I didnt want to have epidural injections so he said I wasn't following his tx regimen. The Drug Enforcement Agency is making it very hard on doctors to prescribe pain medicine such as oxycodone, oxycontin, percocet and even hydrocodone. They have set new rules that go into effect May of 2016, that's this month. Unless you have a serious condition and have been on these meds for the treatment of your pain it will no longer be easy peasy getting the appropriate pain relief you need from a general practitioner... I was in a car accident and had a head injury and my migraines started. They have been on and off all my life and started up again when I get cancer and was given chemo with facial in it. My migraines started up again and were so severe I was going to stop all chemo. They thought I was going to die and assigned me a palliative care pain management doctor. Bad car accident almost 10 years ago, should have died, but I survived..I am in a tremendous amount of pain..Neck, back, shoulder, and I am a mom of three boys that keep me really busy. They are really only used in cases of severe pain, where someone either can't take oral medications, or they have exhausted other pain control options. Learn more pain amanagement details here.
