Codeine With No Markings

I was given Tylenol #5 after I broke my nose... Immediately afterwards they became Vicodin, etc.. My housemate is an old nurse and I'm tired of her always insisting that she knows everything!!! There's got to be a place to look this up!!! ## Not that I am aware of, nor could I find anything about them on current FDA or NIH listings. What are the markings on the pills in question? This information would enable me to research them to see what they contain. Can you please post back and clarify? White tablets, about 3/4 of a centimeter wide, line down the middle of one side, C on the left side of the line, O on the right, nothing on the back of the pill. I've been told they're "small" codeine, probably 5mg with a larger amount of acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, or another mild pain reliever, but I can't find anything quite matching this description online. ## Hello, Unfortunately I can't find a pill that matches the description you provided. Found a Dark purple (half) and white (half) capsule no imprint. Anyone have a clue what this is? ## If there are no markings, it will most likely be difficult to narrow down what it contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. approved and manufactured prescription product, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. The greatest likelihood is that it's something available over the counter. However, there is also a chance that it could be something specially done by a compounding pharmacy, since they also use blank capsules, or it could be a foreign medication. Hi all, I have just been in some treatment in Serbia and I received some prescription pills but were not told about the content of all of them. I really hope you can help me even though I know it's difficult with foreign pills. 1) Plain black capsules with no inscription 2) Round white pills with the inscription T 100. The effect is calming and removes anxiety, making you feel sleepy and comfortable. (A bit like benzodiazepine or codeine.) I know it's probably hopeless but I had to ask! Thank you.

Also, it will be scored for breaking in half. I found a pill that is round, brown/cream color & no imprint. Any ideas? ## With no imprint I can say that it is definitely NOT codeine manufactured in the US. Basically all drugs manufactured here are required to carry unique markings so that they can be easily identified. With that said, it could very well be an over the counter supplement, or perhaps even something from overseas. All in all I'd say to dispose of it. Safety first! Or if you want to spend a hefty amount of $$ you can pay a lab to analyze it, but I doubt that'd be worth your time. Hope this helps! Is their anyway to find wat dosage of codeine it is????? ## If it doesn't have any markings and you don't have the bottle, then the only thing you could do would be to pay to have it lab tested somewhere. I bought it in Nassau Bahamas. Looks like white round percocet. Line down the middle but has zero markings. Can it be right? It might be 50mg Tramadol. Mine have no matkings at all. Tramadol is an opiate, stronger than Codeine, but weaker than Morphine. I take 8 capsules a day, 2 every six hours for a trapped nerve in my hand. I am an over 50 male of about 200 lbs. so my dose might be way too much for say a teneager or a woman. ## Mike, My daughter has same problem as you have and she finally tried acupuncture and it helped.
