Can you please tell me what the symptoms of using expired Canex V are? ## In this case, since it is an antifungal cream that's commonly used treat yeast infections, the worst side effects would like be a funny odor and skin irritation, according to the NIH. Can anyone use expired pile such as hydrochlorat or any other drug or should they be thrown away... ## Most expired medications, in tablet, or capsule form, do not become dangerous, or toxic, once expired, but they do begin to lose efficacy. Thus, the FDA recommends that they be disposed of and you should see your doctor for a new prescription. Is there anything else I can help with?

can I use flamar dp tablets that expired in February, 2012? ## Flamar-DP contains the active ingredients Diclofenac and Paracetamol and they start to lose effectiveness past the expiration date, so it's while they likely haven't degraded much in just a few months, it would be wises to not risk it and just dispose of them. We recently were given 6 cases of Jevity 1.5 cal. The expiration date reads 1SEP07. My husband vomited immediately after feeding through the tube in his stomach. If a prescription expired can you still take them ## I'm not not an MD so I cannot say whether or not it is still safe to consume an expired pill, but my opinion is that you should take caution as to how long it has been expired for. I personally wouldn't take it if it is more than a week expired, because not only would the ingredients degrade over time and not be as effective, but perhaps in some medications the chemical makeup may be altered over the years and there's always a greater risk of unwanted side effects that are associated with that. I have a few expired patches that I found in my medicine cabinet that I guess were never used. Has any1 used a patch that is expired for around a year? I think it is kinda like any other opiates that just loose its potency after expires. Please let me know ig any1 else has tried an expired patch. ## Some medications turn to poison and can kill you if they are expired. but the most of them are just going to work less or not at all. Are expired ferrous sulphate pills safe to take? They expired in 08. ## When it comes to drugs/medication I think it is best to not take any chances with the past expiration date. They MAY still be ok to take if they haven't been exposed to a high amount of heat or various other conditions outside of the bottle, however I am not a pharmacist or MD, so I cannot guarantee if it is in fact safe for you to consume. There is still a high likelihood that it lost some of its potency and may be ineffective to the point where it could harm your body by not doing it's job all the way, per say. I have jevity 1.5 formula that expired in December 2013. Is it still ok to use?? Also, I have medicare and they refuse to pay for enteral feeding suplies. Also, do you know how I can get my hands on kmku kangaroo joey 500ml pump sets?? Hi my mom is on 75 mg of lyrica and she can not refill her script for a few days, ny mother in law gave me an old prescription which her late husband took. they are the same 75mg Lyrica but they are 6 years old! will it hurt my mother to take these? Can I take Bentyl that expired 8/10, 9 months ago? ## As with anything, whether it be drugs, food or drink, you should not take them if they are out of date. The date is on the packet for your safety, and you could experience more adverse effects from taking out of date medication. Also some medications can begin to loose their effectiveness passed the expiration date, so it would be best in your case to just request a new prescription given the length of time that it has been out of date. However, if you'd really like to be certain about the pills degradation, you would have to take them to a lab and have them evaluated for quality assurance. ive fallen into the medicare donut hole, am on Plavix, Coumadin and 3 blood pressure meds. I just found a sample box of Plavix with 20 pills in a blister pack (sealed) but expired 2/2011.. squibb and pharm refuse to comment on use...
