My husband is an addict. He has been taking Opana for 2 years+ with Lyrica. Looking for a treatment center, preferably in the NorthEast but will send him wherever. ## Is he taking them via doctor's prescription, or is he obtaining them elsewhere? And if they are prescribed, is he abusing them by taking more than the amount prescribed? If he's just taking them according to his doctor's instructions, he's not actually an addict and he can work with his regular doctor to taper off of them. A slow taper is safest and would prevent most of the withdrawal effects. Withdrawal symptoms, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, fever, chills and diarrhea.

i am on treatment for 48 weeks, wascundetectable at week 5, am now finishing week 25. question is, is stopping treatment early(been on treatment 20 weeks virus free already)ever done for this reason? ## Have you asked your doctor?
