Was on Levothyrosin, synthroid, and Armor thyroid meds over the past 7 years. The experience that I had with each one goes as follows. Levothyrosin made me feel like crap! I was tired, moody, sad, and questioned my sanity while I was on it. Weight gain! Synthroid made my skin, hair dry and brittle! It made me feel very irritated about little things. Weight fluctuation! Next, Armor I liked because I felt great! It helped me get my skin and hair back on a healthy course. Weight loss 20lbs! However, finding a doctor to write a prescription for it became too difficult when I relocated. Every doctor I asked said it may be a natural thyroid med because it comes from a pig but there is nothing natural about it! I noticed some little black dots maybe half the size of a dime coin, and they are on my left leg. There's like 3 or 4 and I am wondering what they could be? ## It is very hard to say, it could be anything from harmless age related changes in melanin, to a form of skin cancer. The best thing to do would be to see your doctor and let them look at them, they can also do a biopsy, if they feel it is necessary. Most skin conditions, including cancers are very treatable, if caught early enough, so it would be best to have these checked out sooner, rather than later. You should always do so, if you notice something new and odd on your skin. How long ago did they appear? ## Thanks for your response back Verwon and sorry I'm just getting to see this today. It's been awhile now about 3...

Is it ok if I crush Erythrom Eth to treat my skin infection? ## In instances such as this, there are several things that have to be taken under consideration. The first is whether or not you actually have an infection, that needs to be confirmed by a doctor's exam. And the next, of course, is what would be the appropriate antibiotic to treat it, if you do have one. Crushing it may not work, because you may not absorb enough to actually do you any good. You can learn more Erythromycin details here. Tablets haven't been formulated for transdermal absorption and you could end up creating a situation where you develop antibiotic resistance. Thus, for anyone wanting an answer to a similar question, the best advice I can give is that you see your doctor, if you think you have an infec...
