ok--I really want some documentation regarding these deaths caused by the use of Suboxone and benzodiazepenes ie; Ativan, Klonopin, etc., concurrently. I want to know because I have been taking Suboxone with Librium for months, and now am taking Suboxone with Klonopin. I only take 2mg of Suboxone, mind you the high end 'range' is 32mg a day! The best all-around research site for the drugs in the benzodiazepine (benzo) family is benzo.org.uk. The benzo family is quite large - they are dangerous, often difficult to quit and have shown many long-term (the rest of your life) side effects. Do some homework please and work with your dr. to titrate your dosage. They usually will cut it in half for a period, in half again, as low as they can go, and ultimately cut it. Help! I have been free of lexapro for over a year. Benzodiazepine Cree for 9 months after a very slow taper. Benzo's are a wonder drug for cetain disorders--You can very easily get dependant and stopping abruptly can lead to seizures. Please see a physician who you trust if you think you are getting mentally dependent. You are already physically dependent. People- benzo's ( valium, librium ,xanax ,ativan, klonipin, etc) are not a good drug to get hooked on. ## I have been taking 6 mil of Klonopin for almost 6 years and I want to get off of it but I don't know how to wean myself off of it. I am taking suboxone 8 mg as I have since getting of street drugs 3 years ago. I have a bad bronchial virus. I can't take opiates so I am taking Benzonate 200 and Mucinex (Guaifenesin 600). I just want to make sure the Suboxone and Benzonate don't interact. I am prescribed subutex and have been prescribed benzos in the past. Im living in a new area and being without anything for my anxiety is making it next to impossible to survive here. I was on klonopin for 10 years but had to get off of it about 5 years ago. Is there anyone in this area that will prescribe anti anxiety meds while im on subutex? And what about adderall?
