It contains the following active ingredients: Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride Vitamin B Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) Cyproheptadine relieves red, irritated, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny nose caused by allergies, irritants in the air, and hay fever. That said, I'm not exactly sure as to why these specific vitamins are being combined with an allergy medication, but none-the-less it appears to work synergistically. What is the genenic drug for synap forte? ## It is actually a combination drug with four active ingredients: Acetaminophen/Paracetamol Propoxyphene (mild narcotic) Diphenhydramine and Caffeine. It seems it would be used to treat pain, including headaches, with the Diphenhydramine included to help prevent nausea, but this is only a guess based on the ingredients.
