a friend came back from a cruise with a white oval tablet with markings if stood up long ways APO on top .25 under the split I can't find a picture of it or what it is anywhere. ## It seems familiar, but I can't find a listing for it, in our U.S. prescription drug resources. Do you happen to know where they went on the cruise? Apotex makes products in several different countries, so more information might help me narrow it down.

What does Taapo mean - I take Ciprofloxacin HCL 500 MG Tab - when looking his drug up saw this word Taapo and do not know what that means - it is not written on the bottle. White oval pill apo26 imprint ## what is this ## This is actually an older pill, they were phased out and the imprints have since been changed. However, this one is Ranitidine 300mgs, a generic version of Zantac. IT is an antihistamine used to block the release of stomach acids, it does have several other uses as well, such as treating allergies.

Ranitidine 150 mg tablet. I have always received a peach colored tablet w/imprint PAR 544. Concerned about white tablet is for Zantac? I take this w/Metoprolol. ## my husband gets white ones and sometimes peach ones ## Just to confirm, yes, the APO pill is also Ranitidine 150mgs, a generic for Zantac. Tiffanie, I appreciate your response, but if you are going to post to help people on a drug forum, then you need to know that the colors of the tablets really don't mean anything at all, you have to go by the imprint in order to be certain of what something is.

im taking apo atennol 50mg beta blocker but stil thesame my bp 160/90,but i can't use otheres brand bcoz im getting palpitation,my cholesterol is 191 my LDL,im not taking treatment for cholesterol bcoz its to expensive ## What about trying something other than a beta blocker? There are other types of blood pressure medications on the market. I had similar type issues with the regular, straight beta blockers and the palpitations could just be due to your blood pressure being so high. You might want to check and see if Labetalol is available up there, it really helped me a lot when I had problems with the other medications and it stopped the palpitations for me, as well.
