These are not available, at this time, the first studies that showed they were effective were just done in April of 2013, so more studies and tests will need to be performed, before they are available. Is there an over the counter eye drop that starts with T? ## Based on my research, I only came across two brands that started with a T. I sent my form mid Sept. 2013 was approved on Oct 1 2013 then I recieved notice Oct,15 I would recieve my rebate within 4to6 weeks well none came called Alcon Nov.got the run around and was told expect rebate in 4 weeks they were overloaded with requests called and e-mailed again Dec. 15 still geting run around sent e-mail and tried to chat and call but the number is no longer in service and have not rec`d e-mail or call from them, I think this is one big SCAM. I am calling my Attorny General`s office and suggest all of you do the same. the $40.00 will not break me but I understand some of you it can be devastating when all you get back is BS. If it has been prescribed for them, please follow the provided dosing instructions. The FDA lists the typical side effects of these drops as possibly including ear redness, irritation and the ear feeling clogged. How close together can theses drops be used the day before catarac surgery ## Because every surgeon has their own unique set of rules to follow before and after the operation it would be best to schedule an appointment with the surgeon to ask him directly. When you schedule a consultation prior to the surgery, remind them to discuss medications that you may or may not take, any prescriptions and how to use them, and how to prepare for the day of your surgery. Additionally, the surgeon usually gives the patient a list of pre and post operative care instructions to follow before going in. These instructions include what you should and should not be taking prior to and after the surgery. If you did not receive this I would ask them well before going in. I hope this helps!

I was using Bausch + Lomb eye drops for years with good results. Then insurance companies made me switch to generic Azelastine HCI by Apotex Corp and in the past 3-years I'm sure there were other manufactures because the bottle has not always looked the same. I've discussed the terrible side effects with Generic brand. I'm told it's the same as B&L but it's not. This Apotex Corp burned or stung so bad that I jumped in the shower with my clothes on. Ophthalmologist prescribed PREFRIN eye drops for red eyes nearly 20 years ago. Is it available now? My problem is allergic in nature (itchy eyes = angular conjunctivitis mild at inner angles of eyes ). My son is suffering from arthritis. He is also suffering from UVITIS (eye disease). The Eye Specialist has prescribed Predmet eye drops. He has been using the drops for the last two years. Are there any side effects associated with long term use? ## Predmet is an excellent drug but only to be used for a very, very short time -- max 4 days and on the 4th day only 1/2 is given, not the full amount. My Rheumatologist gave me 10 mg for a year and my bones fell apart. Now I'm getting poison to try to get some bone mass back. I was 11 weeks pregnant this week. I miscarried the 26th. I went to the ER. My baby stop growing at 8 weeks and 3 days. I took the ear drops march 2 2014, which was 3 weeks ago. That's when my baby stopped growing. I looked up and the FDA hasn't approved that it's healthy or that it might be safe for women who are pregnant.
