I tested positive on a drug screen while on probation for suboxone. It was a specific test using one dip stick. It was sent off to a lab to do a 12 panel test. Will the lab also specifically test for suboxone? Ive looked this up online and found results that the lab test does NOT test for suboxone. Is this true? Will it show up in the lab???

Family desperate,

Yes, Unfortunately it will show up. Testing protocol for purposes of probation and family law now routinely test for suboxone since it's become such an illicit drug of abuse.The amount has little to do with the metabolic clearence time.Nothing in life is certain but I would prepare for a positive finding. I refuse to give false hope to those who's Liberty may be at stake with these findings.I wish you the very best

i have a probation appointment 2mrw 2/23 and I took subutex on 2/21. I only took a tiny piece like an 8th of it will I pass my drug screen ive took it before like 2 days prior to that. im worried that I want pass any hints to how I can please

yes it will show up in a lab test. Depending on how much you do suboxone can show up in urine test up to 2 weeks.. I failed for cps which is the same as probation. I get tested by probation officers so its the same trust me.. I quit doing them and it was 7 days with none and I barely did them.. Maybe a quarter a day and it still shows up after 7 days. My friend works at a detox center and she told me it can stay in there up to 2 weeks.. Don't believe these internet medical professionals! I did and lost my kids because of it.. But since I got off of them (which was 3 weeks of torture) I feel amazing and since have gotten my kids back and my life together. Hope this helps! Good luck and God Bless!!

For shaw " I've been in and out of jail my whole life , regularly tested and yes you'll probably test positive to Bprup - suboxzone , need at least three days , four guaranteed out of your system for a whole 8mg strip , 2mg might have been alright in 2/3 days depending on how much you eat and drink -(flush)
