Off-label psychiatric usage includes the treatment of depersonalization disorder, schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Adverse reactions:

Lamotrigine prescribing information has a black box warning about life-threatening skin reactions, including Stevens"Johnson syndrome, DRESS syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis.
