Also, this pill can be VERY dangerous! The use of this medication must be CLOSELY monitored by a doctor. It can cause a very serious skin rash that, if not treated can result in death. PLEASE check your boy for any rashes right away! As a mother myself, I would look up Lamictal on the net, and have a serious, non-threatening discussion with my boy about the dangers of taking Lamictal or any other unfamiliar pills, or pills that are not prescribed to him (I'm sure you would do this anyway, but I was just researching the drug myself, and got scared for you when I read your post).

I am not sure what your son thinks this is, but this tablet contains 25mgs of Lamotrigine, a generic for Lamictal. This is an anticonvulsant medication that is also used to treat BiPolar disorder.

This is a prescription only medication, so it is illegal to have if you do not have a valid doctor's prescription.
