I used to take this supplement back in the '70s. We always called them "white cross" and they were cheap! A few drawbacks, though - Cotton mouth (big time) and body trembling. My hands still shake today.

Ellen, please be sensible. You are 72 years old. i took these pills at age 19-26 and darn near had a heart attack if taking too many too close together. you have no business taking this stuff if you could even find it.

I know that ephedrine was taken off the market for a few years which is what I believe White Crosses were made from; Black Beauties are now called Adderall (amphetamine salts), yellow jackets - weren't those nembutal (barbituates) not speed. Phentermine used to come in yellow capsules but that too is no longer available without a doctors prescription. Do NOT take the crap they sell on the internet that says "no script needed" - It's counterfeit and is not phentermine and can really hurt you bc they put whatever they want into the pill which comes from China via India. The only way to get those types of stimulants is through a doctor's prescription as they are Class II controlled substance...

Hi i rember mid 60s early seventys this supplement that was real small thin had a x on them you could buy 25 for 5.00 a nickle bag, or one thousand for 100.00 a jar, what exactley was in them i rember two would really get you feeling good, and i never took more than four in one night although id heard of people taking as many as thirty pills. i also wittnessed people abusing them. Well, im 58 years old now and have been clean sober for 28 years.Thank god, but i always wondered what exactley was that stuff, thanks

everyones all talking about how great cross tops and black beauties where in the 70's and all that but what about us how come you old guys got to experience that and because of your experience or whatever the good old goverment took them away. Can cross stops sill be bought in Mexico? Why wouldn't they right?

Tedral was an asthmatic medication I used in the 70's and was quite horrific on the body. Taken in above recommended dose it gave you a cold tense feeling causing severe muscle cramps and anxiety. I over dosed and was no longer able to take the medication. I also took white crosses and can tell you first had they were not the same drug but had similar effects without the cramping. They were an excellent enhancement to my wrestling ability as state and national contender. Looking back 40 years plus, a poor choice.

A good friend of mine actually has about 500 of these "white crosses". They found them in Niagara Falls,Canada! I hadnt taken one since I was in highschool, but my buddy offered some for me to try, so I took one, never felt anything, took another obe and "bazingaah"!! Energy to BOOT!!! Was great!! Now I keep a few stashed away just in case I'm having a sluggish day and need a little boost that coffee can't fix! I only take them once in a while (maybe 2 - 3 times a month) just because I'm sure they aren't the best thing for ya, so good in moderation! Just never over-do it and all is good!!

Hi I would like the link as well. I am not into any of the new stuff. I spend soooo much money on all the stuff that doesn't work! U weight loss, hcg, isagenics, and every new over the counter and even some perscription what ever I can to get energy and lose weight. Selling me all this stuff that doesn't work should be illegal. I just want something that works.

Those white crosses were the BEST! Although I always thought they were just pure caffeine. Never had anything like them since. They don't make them anymore. They gave the best energy Sure wish they still made them.

Good old Bennie, I would take them if I could get a script to lose weight. Doctors have it all wrong because the Man has got between the Doctor-Patient Relationship. In turn billions are paid out for the effects of Obesity. Let them pay for all the open heart surgeries all because Big Brother interferes. We need Cross Tops. Start a movement. Free Crosstops instead of opioids = healthier speedy workforce, like the 70's. Government mentality is slow in their logic. Free the Bennie'!

Wow .. those were the days! I'm 62 now, but was an addict for about a year. I remember staying up all night and cleaning the kitchen .. including the ceiling lol! I never knew of anyone becoming psychotic unless they already suffered disease and the speed exacerbated it. I now take Adderall for "idiopathic hypersomnia", and it's not even CLOSE to the cross tops we had back in the day. If only! But I haven't abused anything since back then. But, oh, how I miss them!

Well I can tell you for a fact that it causes high blood pressure! And that it causes problems in the male genitalia. But it was a good time with OE and White Crosses, like days on days of partying! But you pay for it when you're older!

White cross pills were ephedrine. They have been illegal for many years. Use to be able to buy them in gas stations in the 90's. Reason they were made illegal is they did give energy and caused heart attacks.
