Will hydrochlorot help me lose weight i have started taking some different meds and im getting soheavy i just need some help losing a few pounds. I get swolen ankels and feet i heard it will help cause of all the water retaining. I am 30 and i want to be back to my normal size, i feel so ugly im at 190 lbs. And i need to be at 120 i know this wont do all the work but it can help rigjt?

The first thing I want to point is that both beauty is state of mind, that has nothing to do with your weight and how you look physically…..so stop being so hard on yourself and feeling ugly!
Next, Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, it helps remove excess fluid from the body to treat conditions such as edema, congestive heart failure and high blood pressure.

Thus, if you've put on weight due to something other than fluid retention, it's not going to help you lose weight.
What would make more sense is to look at the other medications you're on and see which of them could be contributing to the problem and what ones might be able to be switched out by your doctor for alternatives that may not cause weight gain.
