What Is Ciplavasc 5 Used For..swelling, Pain, Fever, Etc

Hi, i was put on Ciplavasv on the 20th December.. i wasn't told why.. 1 per day. Well the 2nd i started swelling all over, feet, legs, hands even my face..eyes, my WHOLE BODY WAS SWOLLEN AND I RAN A FEVER PLUS LOTS OF PAIN...IM SURE ITS THESE MEDICATIONS I WAS PUT ON. WITHOUT TELLING ME WHY AND WHAT FOR.. IM 65 YRS OF AGE... FEMALE.. WHAT MUST I DO...? WHEN I SAW WHAT HAPPENED TO OTHERS ..THIS IS A DANGEROUS TABLET.. PLEASE HELP ME... MY BLADDER PAIN'S VERY SEVERE. IM ALSO ON DITROPAN 5 MG..ALSO NEW TO ME... PLEASE HELP ME. I'm on SIMVASTATIN 40.. CARLOC 12.5mg and HYPACE .5MG...FUROSEMIDE 40mg.. FLUOXETINE 20mg .. LANSOLOC 30... I WAS FINE UNTIL I STARTED TO USE THE DITROPAN 5 mg AND CIPLAVASC.. PAIN ALL OVER.. LOTS OF SWELLING AND FEVER. PLEASE HELP ME.. {edited for privacy}

Hello, Joey! How are you? I'm sorry about how miserable these medications have made you.

With that type of swelling, you need to see your doctor, as soon as possible, that could be the sign of an allergic reaction, or a possible serious complication from one of these medications.

Ciplavasc is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and angina. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

The Ditropan is used to treat urinary frequency. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and blurred vision.

That said, it's hard to guess which one is causing the problem, just from the information in your post. But, I do wonder why they have you on the Ditropan, which helps you pee less, while they also have you on Furosemide, which increased how much you pee. You really do need to see your doctor and have this checked out.

Do you have high blood pressure or a cardiac condition?

Hi, I'm a 50 year old woman and have just been put on Ciplavasc 5 and Ridaq 12,5mg. After reading about what is happening to all these people who have been prescribed these medications, I do not feel comfortable taking them. I went to the doctor yesterday cause I had a thyroid problem but that seems to have disappeared and I have the flu. Could this have caused a high BP reading? I'm very hesitant about taking these tablets!
