Torb Val Syrup

do they loose their appetite when taking this medicine? or combined with ZydaClin?
My dog has been drowsy and not active like she normally is ....she had her teeth clean and some pulled and has been taking the medicine for 5 days now

Hello Pat,

Sorry to hear your dog is having a bad time after having her teeth pulled. According to Diamondback Drugs and Pet Education the most frequently seen side effects from Torbutrol (torb val syrup) are sedation, loss of appetite and diarrhea; it also can cause a slower heart rate. If she continues to feel this way after you stop administering the medication you may want to consult a veterinarian as there may be other factors involved.
