Hi This ravi from singapore,i am using this TELSARTAN AM 80 Active since 2 month for my Hypertension ( 100/150), which was suggested by Dr.Kannan MD ( cardiology) from Vadamayalan hospitals - Madurai TN India,Now i feel better in my BP and i can work in my job very comfortable. Is it correct doseage for my BP or over doseage?

My doctor has prescribed me atelsartan 40 in the morning and Amlogard 5 in the night for B.P. Is it OK ? I am 70 yrs old and patient of hypertensio for the past 20 years.

How do you choose between Telsartan and Telsartan H. I am taking Telsartan H. Why not Telsartan alone ?

This medication is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's in India, and they state the principal active ingredient to be Amlodipine. It a long-acting calcium channel blocker (dihydropyridine class) used as an anti-hypertensive and in the treatment of angina. Like other calcium channel blockers, amlodipine acts by relaxing the smooth muscle in the arterial wall, decreasing peripheral resistance and hence reducing blood pressure; in angina it increases blood flow to the heart muscle.
