Taking Propranolol For The First Time

Hi I'm 21 year old mum and from cambridge. I started the anti-biotics metronidazole 400g and doxycycline 100g 6days ago because my doctor thinks I've got some sort of infection after an examination. Each tablet I've got to take one twice a day, with or after food and I've got to take them for two weeks. But the reason for this comment is recently I've bin sufforing from anxiety, the last couple weeks I've panicked more! To the point I don't even smoke anymore! The thought of smoking worrys me along with drinkin ect, and I've bin a smoker for years! Literally 20-30 a day! My doc made me a nurses app about the quitting smokin which I have in two days, but back to my anxiety. He prescribed me cetalopram 3 days ago (thursday) and told me to try that as I was an emotional wreck about what's happening and was having a panic attack, he thinks I've got depression aswell as anxiety, so I took one and I actually felt a lot calmer that night n was able to sleep fine that night, but I got up in the night n couldn't sleep for hrs, then went bk dwn n got bk up two hrs later, bout 8 in the morn, felt rly dizzy n shakey n horrible n started panicking so took another tablet as thought it would help and I did nothin but panic all morning n felt really light headed, shakey, nausious, went back to my doctor and told her what had happened at this point I was rly panicking and crying ( I had to see a diff doc as mine was not in) she told me if I'm not comfortable takin them then don't and I agreed, she prescribed me propranolol 10mg 3x a day, but she told me to take one when I need to (start panicking) but take no more than three, took one that same day (still friday) and I felt ok, bit tight chested n breathless, I couldn't say long sentences without gettin out of breath and having to take a few deep breaths and I felt tensed up,(she advised me to stay up n about n do things but I needed my bed! I felt to withdrawn n bad to be out all light jeaded n that) so went home n rested but was able to sleep fine that night, then got up in the night again and couldn't sleep, felt bit panicky n that so called a doctor out, I'd bin up for 4hrs at this point (bout 5 in the morning) doctor checks me over everythings fine he said and to try n sleep n said its ok for me to take another propanolol, so I did, eventually slept for no more than two hrs n was up again felt bit withdrawn n weird that morning (saturday/yesterday) and felt down but not so much as panicking which was good! Chest felt tight, breathless, tensed up but I thought giv it time! (I've also found it hard to eat the past few days, throughout day couldn't swollow chunks so drunk soup n yogurts as gta have somin in me mainly for the antibiotics)(I'd bin advised this by a doc) I didn't want to get out of bed but I thought. Cnt take another as I'd took one about 2 3 hrs ago at this point so I thought deal with it, I got up got ready n done some house work bout 10 in the morn, I just felt so weak but I needed to do somin, went shopping couple hrs later and comin bk frm shoppin about 3 I felt rly weird n started to panic so tk another propanolol as the last one I took was in the night when doc said to, and I felt rly calm after that, the most normal I'd felt since the last couple weeks, I then could stomach to eat so only had 1 lot of antibiotic in the day (yesterday) as I couldn't stomach to take my next lot, and I'm feeling better, wasn't thinking about the panicking as much (as all I do is think about it throughout the day and how I'm not the same anymore) but then night time felt bit panicky n that so took another propanolol befor I went to sleep, I felt fine n slept (this bout 10pm but) early hrs this morn (sunday/today) I was up in the night bout 1am, gettin bk to sleep n up again till 7 in the morn, I feel fine but havnt slept good again , my chest feels tight again n back hurts slightly but my stomach hurts (poss due to not eating properly the past few days) so gna try n eat now as I've bin up properly for a couple hrs and I'm so hungry(bin feeling hungry constantly)( I obv won't take another propanolol untill I need to) but just wondering rly if first thing in the morning should I take propranolol if I'm feeling panicky n weird like this? And to help me to get out of bed? As I've bin hating the thought of getting out of bed. should I take one in the night if I get up aswell? I thought this morning I'm not takin one in the night try n deal with it n still had a restless night! And is there anything I can do for my restless nights? Coz I rly need my sleep! Its getting to me as these restless nights have only just started happening! As I have a 4 year old she nackers me out and its horrible feeling like this all tho time! I want to feel normal again :( And I need energy for my daughter! I also recently can't handle people around me for long, I feel anxious, I cnt handle things rly loud ext. Can I just be told some advice in what people think please? It would really help.

try zopaclan* not sure how to spell it, they're sleepers. Might feel a bit groggy the next day but will help u sleep. Also benzos will help u with the panic attacks n anxiety. Espeically if u have a glass of wine with it!
