See if your Dr will prescribe sequreol instead of valium. It will help with sleeping and appetite. Onky a suggestion, I'm not Dr. Helps me better than Xanax and Klonapin. Good luck.
Hi, my name is renea I've been on suboxan for about a month but, before that I was in the methadone clinic I've noticed sense I've been in the sub clinic I hurt all over my hands in fingers hurt my feet in legs throb I feel sick to my stomach has anyone else had these problems? I'm thinking seriously about going back to the methadone clinic it helped me so much more!!! Also does anyone know how long I should wait to go back to methadone?
@hurtinritenow,
Sorry to hear about your experience with suboxone. I wouldn't doubt it if it really was the cause of developing lupus. You just never know how these medications are going to effect you until you start taking them. Although I don't have any personal experience in the matter of suboxone, I have heard about the withdrawals lasting up to several days or weeks, depending on how long you've been taking it for.
Have you communicated with your doctor about the efficacy of norco against your withdrawals? Maybe if he understands your predicament he'd consider prescribing something stronger?
I would also suggest looking into any alternative or holistic/herbal approaches for adjunctive therapy if you aren't able to rely on pharmaceutical meds solely on their own.
Hope this helps!
I switched from around 20 mg of suboxone to to 6 10 mg norcos a day about 25 days ago. I was on the suboxone for about 6 months. And even after 25 days I still cannot sleep, I go through withdrawels at night and the norcos still do not work as good as they should. I am also wondering how much longer it is going to take for my body to get back to normal-my opiate receptors to be completely open and to start sleeping. This had made many negative effects on my life the last few weeks. My new doctor also prescribed me 20 mg of valium a day for sleep and anxiety, but even that is not working. Does anyone have any tips for me?
