Suboxone Need Advice

I have been taking Suboxone for 8 months. gone off a few times, bad decision. was off suboxone recently for a week taking non prescribed methadone. went through hell. getting back on am back up to 12 to 16 mg day. take 8 to 12 in mornings then 4mg at night. also take Clonipin am. tapering those now. have horrible depression paranoia anxiety. going through watching husband have affair many and treats me horribly. not many friends. hard just to make myself shower or do dishes. have arm pain. what to do. I feel like I am in withdrawal sweating all the rest. can't I just stop taking it on about 16 mg plus 2 mg of clonipin not prescribed. I think I am just going crazy. plz help. is the clonipin wearing off the suboxone ? I want to stop taking. Dr says 2 mg a week bring down and stop the clonipin he gave me. Paul afraid to start it. help. feel like crap. just want off all of it. am I going to withdrawal badly?

Hello, Cindy! How are you doing? I am very sorry about everything you've been through.

Rather than stopping either medication, right now, I think you need to see someone to get help with your depression and anxiety. You likely would experience bad withdrawals and they will just make your symptoms worse.

IS there a chance that your doctor could refer you to a psychiatrist?

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Getting support and help with the way you're feeling is the only way you're really going to be able to take control of your life back and get off of these habit forming medications.
