i recently took myself off pain meds(opiates) altogether.,im tired of dependency.however about once a week i take a suboxone strip when i get cravings.i took a half a strip today(Sat) around 6.pm and found out we have a random drug test at work tomorrow night(SUN)or mon.morningwe get tested at a lab then get rersults in 2-5 days.will it appear in a lab drugscreening for work 24-36 hours after taking?if yes how can i appear clean for test.

I have had a urine test today and the nurse said that my urine tested positive for suboxone. I have never taken suboxone in my life. How could it show up in my urine?

I am presribed a benzo with my suboxone. I take colonpins presribed by my suboxe doctor. If u fail the test in court they send u right on over to jail so how do I get that kind of test done when they have me in jai. I swear I didn't take any oxy or amp. A girl got arrested for selling her sub.and they wrote her up for selling methamins. I just so confused.

Hi Bizman, I was looking something up when I saw ur question. I personally know how hard opiate addiction is. I think it is amazing ur a single parent, school,& work; you already got out of satans hands! I'm on subtex. I think this is a great drug. It doesn't get me high, but I'm not in severe pain! With it I have been off opiates since Sept.2012. I never made it that long with out subtex! I'm a firm believer that God does everything for a reason! Cut urself some slack!! Look how hard you've worked to get where you r NOW!! You got off the opiates & u only take 1-2 suboxone a week! ;~} What we have really is a disease! & people with diseases usually need medication! If U get on a regular regimen of taking subox. or subu. You will feel much better soon. I felt like #*#* when I took them occasionally, but on daily I'm not depressed anymore! I go out with my hubby again! I run &play with my kids!!! You can do this too! I know these Drs. Can b expensive. But I spend less on a sub. Than I was buying pain pills!! Don't b so hard on yourself! Another benefit; it doesn't show up on drug screens. They have to have a specific test.(test cost a lot.) labs usually don't even carry that test: point is: ur job & school won't b effected by it! Also if ur prescribed it; than you wouldn't b anyway! When taken daily drs. R prescribing this for pain! I have spinal stenosis, bulging- herniated disc,facet disease(arthritis)..I was told if I wanted out of pain; I need 4 surgeries. With sub. (Daily)I don't hurt like I used to!! Sorry for rambling; but I think it's amazing you have come sooo far Bizman! Don't give up! & don't give up on medicine just cuz opiates made us turn into a dark person! Every med. nor Dr. Is created equal!! You are in my prayers! God bless you for loving your kids enough to make the change!( I know it was painful both physically & mentally!) Just know you have options! I know you won't give up!! I was cut off by my insurance because I tested neg. for suboxone.When the reason that i may have tested neg. is because I couldnt afford to see my doc before my meds ran out.Therefore it wasnt in my system,or at least my levels were off.I need this medication to even function everyday.I have 2 daughters adn the last thing I want is to go back to pain pills just to survive.All I want is for this hell to be over.Ive asked my doc if he could hospitalize me to ween me under his supervision.But of course he wont because coventry wouldnt pay for it.I need help,fast and have nowhere to turn.I cant afford the meds and my doc visits.What am I to do?Please help!

I had dropped dirty ,last month for meth ??? Thing is I never do or done it my dude does some only be for we have sex ,he only done this a few times ,,,! Could I get it in my systom from having sex with some one who has done meth ????? Please let me no .only other way is someone slipping it in my drink or food ,God help me if that's been hap ping ,anyone who can anser me please feel free thanks

Yes it will be in your systom but they have to check for it spacificly ,Drink drink drink lots n lots water .and u may get lucky I no that stays in u up to 4 days keep u in my prayers . Becky

I have been on Suboxone for nearly three years. I started at 16mg a day and am now on 1.5mg a day. I have never tested positive for opiates and have read some people do not. If you do not test positive on a standard UDS ask for them to test for it. It will show up then if indeed you are taking it.

Ok so I don't do suboxon ever bit I have a very high metabolism and stay active I took half of a quarter of a strip and when I get tested I'll b clean four days I've been drinking water like crazy lemon juice and Cranberry juice is it possible for me to pass

I am going into some type of drug court for DCS so that i can get my kids back. I have been addicted to opiates for 10 years and i finally got on something that has helped...suboxone. I no longer. have the cravings and i feel great but now im worried that they will make me come off of them. If anyone knows anything about how this drug court works with me being on suboxone. It is a prescription from my doctor

You can ABUSE subs please do not get that misunderstood and the WD from those are 10x worse than any opiate believe me I went 5 days in WD and that was with taking opiates to help the pain. Sub is better for the addiction but do not think just cause he's on subs now he's not a addict cause he is! The subs are the strongest narcotic controlled sub out here and really all that is being done is replacing one addiction with a higher one. I was on Perc 10 I had to be moved up to 30s 2 automatically just to get relief as sub raised my tolerance and that was not even a whole strip for 6 mts

You will always be addicted if you stay on opiates or go to subs sub WD is 10x worse from daily use than any opiate if you want off completely and it worked go for it it will show even if you took a quater but the doc has to test for it not all office test have one for sub

Rapid exams now makes 12 panel urine tests for bupes and propoxyphene check out the websites I just did and allot of probation departments especially county probation are now testing for them!
