Suboxone 8mg White Pill Round

I went to pick up my suboxone strips and was given the little white pill instead which I have read is the generic form. I normally take 1/2 strip twice daily and took the entire 8mg. tablet and did not have any of my normal effects from the strips. I then took another tablet a few hours later and still nothing. I read that this form of suboxone does not work and can cause you to go into withdrawal. Is this true? Why isn't it working? What can I do. The pharmacy told me that my insurance only covers the generic form, and not the orange ones or the strips. I'm obviously concerned about this and not sure what I can do. Any feedback would be appreciated.

What are the markings on the tablet in question? Can you please post back and clarify?

What effects are you expecting it to cause?

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Are you on any other medications?

moon on one side and 155 on the other. the effects I'm not feeling are relaxation from anxiety, an opioid euphoric feeling that I normally get shortly after taking my suboxone strip. I'm feeling very anxious and am having some withdrawal effects. I know what the side effects from suboxone are I have been on the strips for months and know what it feels like when I take it. I am getting no relief from the white pills. I am also on Neurontin and Prozac.

it is a generic, i know of several people who got the orange strips and pills and they was switched over to the white pills (N8 with a arrow and 155 with moon crest) and they was feeling withdrawal effects while taking them.

i've heard rumors that the clinics give the white generic to those who are being weened off of suboxone, i don't know how true it is but it does make sense to give patients a weaker version of the medicine to those that are ending their 2 year program.

i wish you the best of luck of fighting the withdrawal, i've been there and done that.

that may be true about the weaning process but for me, I actually just started a few weeks ago. It was actually my insurance company who was forcing me to take the white ones. We rectified the situation by putting in paperwork for my physicians override stating obvious reasons for me needing the brand name form of suboxone. They told her it shouldn't take more than 5 or 6 days they said. In the meantime, I am being daily dosed by the office/program which gives me the orange pill. But thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my question.

I took this an it did throw me into withdrawal symptoms worse than I was already having it made me very angry. I also have had an allergic reaction to it every side-effect there is I had an the hospital gave me benadryl and a steroid shot an I still feel no better than I did yesterday I feel worse today. I would go back to the hospital but they treated me wrongly an said I was lieing an I was crazy what am I supposed to do about this. It also tasted sweet to me are they supposed to taste sweet?
