Spasm In Heart Artery / Prinzmetals Angina?

I have moderate stenosis in my main coronary artery, also in other arteries some luminal irregularites, have had attacks of artery spasm, stress test was fine. Could the irregularities be due to artery spasm? I have ticked all boxes for prinzmetal angina but doc still doesn't seem to think these attacks are heart related. I am concerned that because i do have heart disease can the angina be dangerous? I have had the attacks on and off since 2009. I was in the hospital twice. Nitro seems to help. I am still worried.

I don't have an answer for you but I exactly what your going through. I am writing this as I sit in a hospital room just for exactly what you have. My last doctor also didn't believe that I have spastic artery disease. My angiogram report was just made available to me and the recommendation wasn't followed. You got to keep fighting for answers, it's your life and health! Good luck and I hope you find your answers.

Outstanding advice if a patient doesn't proactively advocate for themselves far to many medical professionals treat you like a number not a human with feelings questions and concerns....I hope you find resolution for your heart disease.
