My friend said it was a muscle relaxer but I'd like to know the name and exact effects. It has this on one side:

It's small (about half the size of my pinky nail), white, and in the shape a flattened sphere.

the pill you are reffuring to is Paxil. it is an anti deppresant, social axiety drug. perscribed for axiety and OCD, dosnt have much effect if not taken on a regular basis. it just keeps your seretonin levels good so you dont hate yourself.. my friend also had sone and i looked it up online, i also took one and dont feel anything from it. hope that answers your question

I've actually identified this pill as Paroxetine HCL extended release (12.5 mg); which is an extended release generic version of the brand name medication Paxil (as Mr.541 suggested).

Paroxetine is used to treat major depression, obsessive-compulsive, panic, social anxiety, and generalised anxiety disorders in adult outpatients.
