Potassium 99mg =how Many Meq

My wife was prescribed potassium years ago. Does not remember mg or meq.We assume it was 10or 20 meq.She is now taking Oct potassium 99mg.How many 99mg would she take to get 10meq? She is diabetic and keeps it under control.

There is no actual conversion for this, these 99mg over the counter potassium supplements aren't even close to the amount available in the prescription tablets.

Additionally, it is not safe to take that much, unless her doctors has said she is dangerously low in it and needs to supplement it.
