Hello, Fastgt! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.
Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year by the DEA, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, now. A general practitioner won't be able to prescribe them.
Vicodin is listed by the FDA as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Soma is a muscle relaxant and its most common side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.
Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
