i received approx dime size round white pill scored no writing thats supposed to be soma did i get ripped off?

If a tablet has no markings, then it is not any type of legal U.S. prescription medication. The FDA requires that they all have unique markings on them to enable their identification in case of emergency. By looking up the markings on a tablet it can be discovered what the tablet contains, what the dosage is, and what company manufactured it.

If there are no markings on it, then it is most likely an over the counter product of some type, however, there is also a small chance that it might be a foreign medication, and if that is the case, there is no way of being certain what the tablets contain.

*Soma contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol, it is a muscle relaxant that is used to help alleviate the pain associated with strains, sprains, and spasms.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.
