Oxycodone Pink 10 Mg Tablets - Why Are They No Longer Helping Me

Hello I'm taking oxycodone HCL 10 mg 4 time's a day. On one side it has a #12 on it. I can't make make out what's on the other side. At 1st way back in the day I started out on percocet 5/325 then I went to 7.5 mgs then from there my doctor of 15 years put me on 10/325 then 10/650 and now in December of 2015 my family doctor put me on the oxycodone HCL 10 mgs and it help's. But my Dr. said I have a very much high tolerance. I'm going to a new pain management Doctor in March. I have to let him ( my pain management Dr. ) know it isn't working like it was in in December And January and I actually take like 6, no more than 8 tablets a day and I run out in like 2 weeks or 2/and halt weeks but that's for they are no longer honestly working on me as they did in December and January. What should I do? I suffer a crooked spine And 4 dislocated discs and I'm in a lot of pain. I will be 50 years old on this month on the 27th. I also have heart disease and I've had mini strokes actually 6 as they have told me. I also am 131 pounds. I'm 5'3. I'm not sure on what to do. Could you please help me And give as much as advice as you possibly can? I'm also a domestic violence survivor on sooo many medications that you wouldn't even believe. I suffer from high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I was diagnosed with bipolar at the age of 13. at least 6 or more times than that tried to commit suicide And I'm soooo happy GOD OUR FATHER ABOVE MADE SURE I SURVIVED. I THANK GOD OUR FATHER ABOVE ON GIVING MANY CHANCES ON LETTING ME NOT GO TO HELL. I WAS A CUTTER. I WENT THROUGH COUSLING And That Helped ME SOOO Much I DID A MICA PROGRAM HERE AND I CANNOT SAY I WON'T EVER CUT AGAIN But I CAN ONLY PRAY TO OUR FATHER ABOVE IN HEAVEN THAT I WON'T MARK MY BODY IN ANYWAY. I PRAY AND I HAVE 4 GROWN WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL SMART BLESSED CHILDREN AND MY BABIES (MY YORKI PUPPY He's 9/HALF Mths OLD THEN I MY TABBY CAT WHOM HE'S 10 Mths OLD I JUST LOVE THEM SOOOO VERYYYY MUCHHHH) I LOST MY DEAREST BEST FRIEND MY HUSBAND OF 25 YEARS IN SEPTEMBER 2001. I TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD BUT INSTEAD OF GOING FORWARD I WENT BACKWARDS WHEN I LOST MY MOTHER IN 2005. I FELT I COULD NOT GO ON BUT INSTEAD OUR LOVELY LORD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER ABOVE DIDNT GIVE UP ON ME. I WAS BY MY SIDE AT ALL TIMES AND HE WILL BE BY EVERYONE'S SIDE GUIDING US AND HE DOESN'T EVER GIVE UP ON US. NOTTTTTT EVERRRRRR. SO IVE SAID ENOUGH. I WROTE EVERYONE A BOOK BUT I JUST FELT I HAD TO GET EVERYTHING OUT. THANK-YOU ALL WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL SMART BLESSED PEOPLE. I COULD REALLYYYY USE EVERYONE'S ADVICE ON WHAT TO ASK MY NEW PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR. PLEASSSSEEEEEE HELPPPPPP ME PEOPLE. PLEASE I ASK YOU ABOUT THESE LIL PINK TABLETS OXYCODONE 10'S THEY ARE REALLYYYY NOT HELPING ME AS THEY STARTED OUT IN DECEMBER 2015. I KNOW ALSO YOU HAVE TOO BE A CERTAIN WEIGHT ALSO IF MY PAINMANGENT DOCTOR WANTS TO INCREASE MY DOSAGES OR GIVE ME A A STRONGER PILL IM SURE THATS WHAT HES GONNA DO. Hello, Dawn! How are you? I'm very sorry about the issues you're experiencing.

It is perfectly normal for our bodies to become tolerant to medications and for them to eventually stop working as well for us. The time frame can vary from person to person, but sooner or later, we all have to deal with it and move on to a higher dose, or a different medication.

The FDA classifies Oxycodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Have you seen the pain management doctor, yet? If so, what did they advise?
