Low Red Blood Cell Count For Cats

i am giving my 13 year old cat pet tinic for low red blood cells but it causes sores in her mouth. is there an alternative med for low red blooc cells such as some kind of pill

Unfortunately, our site information and any knowledge of my own is geared towards the use of medications and their effect in humans. We really don't have anything about what can and cannot be used in Felines.
