Is It Ok To Take 500mg Methacarbam And 100mg Gabapentin Together

I ran out of my tramadol was wondering if could be take the gabapentin in its place with my methacarbam muscle relaxants ?

Gabapentin is not an actual analgesic, so it won't work like the Tramadol. As classified by the FDA, it's actually an anticonvulsant that can also help with some types of nerve pain and some mood disorders, but it must be taken for 4 to 6 weeks, before it will reach its full level of efficacy in the body and alleviate pain.

Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight gain.

Tramadol, however, is an opioid analgesic that carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant that used to alleviate the pain associated with strains, sprains and spasms. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

It would be best to contact your doctor to get another prescription for your Tramadol.

Ok took Methacarbamol for about a year and had some really weird things happen, watch for memory loss and confusion also anxiety. I thought I was loosing my mind.
