Can you take Nitromin spray for anxiety, I often suffer from tightness in the chest and shallow breathing, after meals, bedtime, or when rushing around. I have been checked by hospital and they tell me after a number of tests I'm 100%. However they did give me this spay before I attended hospital to try and seemed to work the one time I used it, but I don't know how often or if I should be taking it, hospital told me nothing, but I still get the anxiety discomfort and wondered if its ok to use?

I'd not recommend it, if you're experiencing anxiety, you're likely already developing a more rapid heartbeat from that and this medication can cause that as a side effect, so it could end up being too much and may cause damage.

Other side effects as reported by the FDA may include nausea, throbbing headache and dizziness.

Is there anything else I can help with?
