I Have A Petition Against Actavis Pharmaceutical For Distributing Bad Oxycodone (Top voted first)

I have a petition against Actavis Pharmaceutical for distributing bad Oxycodone. I called Actavis on the phone and they claim that the formula is the same. I was told by a reliable source that the formula has changed along with more fillers and binder included. Please let me know if you want to find my petition on Change.org. I would go w/ the kvk, I take that brand & no problems. Just got actavis 15's myself & it's terrible side effects & also does not work worth s***, like you but only I had a few kvk left I found & instantly I took one my chronic pain ( I'm in bad shape & should be on much stronger meds but have no ins & cannot afford oh and f*** the affordable care act, their not paying the doctors ) back to topic I'm so pissed off because that pharmacy & owner has been my friend for many years now, it " Just goes to show you don't ever know, watch each card you play, & PLEASE PLAY IT SLOW" Garcia .. Anyways yeah who knows anymore this country is going to hell in a bucket, the pharmacutical companies are robbing people blind, it's just legal "DRUG DEALING" & insane amounts of trafficking. Yet I cannot sit in my own home & partake in a joint of good quality, I hate to take pills, but I have to function at least a little I never abuse them & if I did I think these actavis would make you very sick, " BY DESIGN " this country is now # 2 & owned by china who is # 1 now & the new main currency. We all voted him in & now we pay the price, anyone ever notice how Obama never puts his hand on his chest EVER when our national anthem is played. Best to get off this s***, because when the s*** hits & it will those dependent on our meds will be struck down first. Sorry to get off on a rant but honestly America is just a business anymore, if you love your rights & constitution anymore your a target & even worse if you practice a religion!

I had wrote a pist but they mustve not approved it.....so ill try again. You all have to realize that actacrap is a generic Percocet. ....when u talk about oxycodone, that is a diff med.. its confusing wether some of u r on just straight oxycodone (which is not a Percocet. ....oxy doesnt have the acetaminophen included in it, Percocet does). If any of u r taking straight oxycodone, the formula has been modified to include an abuse deterrent ingredient as one has mentioned below. This makes it more difficult for abusers to insufflate or inj. it. This also changes the formula as a whole and the way its broken down in ur system as well as how long it takes to b broken down n absorbed once taken, despite a comment from another below who mentions it wouldnt make a difference. ...thats wrong. Another interesting fact....since introducing this deterrent into the market, the thought behind it was to lower the numbers on people who abuse their meds...what they didnt forsee was that while the numbers may have dropped some ( not enough for them to brag about), abusers are not only finding their way around the new formulation, it has risen the number of people who abuse illegal drugs, mostly H since its cheaper and theyre able to get their high. So while they were messing with our meds thinking they were gonna stop these i****s from abusing pills, they actually forced the abusers to turn to H n raising the percentage of H use, which is more deadly than pill abuse. All in all, they made things worse by not thinking it thru! How they thought people would have no choice but to clean up is beyond me......how these shmoo's didnt realize if they mess with one, theyll just find another source to serve their purpose just proves the people driving the bus on this problem should be demoted to janitorial duties! Theres the truth behind this mess!

Try endocet by endo pharmaceuticals. ...they have been getting goid review s considering. .. i take them now myself as well. They're no way near as effective as Watson, but theyre the best ur going to get now. Good luck!

I just knew this was not my oxycodone that ive been taking for years. Just filled my script i am on second day an still no pain relief ive been itching headache stomachache.. something is not right!!! I called the pharmasist at walgrens said it is a new brand. This is actualky a placbo. Politics now messing arond with pain medicines an it is not legal. If i can get ahold of a lab an have this analyzed i WILL get to the bottom of this. Drs dont care they say all they do is write the script... 200.00 for a script i a placebo is totally illegal. I WILL seek an attorney. I take this medication for my pain an now like health ins e feds are trying to fool us..i hope we can all ban together on this matter an get a legal case out there. its very sad this is happening. This also has raised my bloodpressure almost 80pt.At pain management yesterday it was 130/70..24hours ago now these so called brand Actavis oxycodone my pressure was 185/112.this could kill me due to the new brand!!!

Yes i want to sign the petition..This company needs to be stopped..Ive had same problems with the fake placebo posing as oxycodone...Looking for a lab that can take one of us patients oxycodone atavis..an get to the bottom of this..They are robbing us to make them rich..please send any feedback requarding petitions out there ill be signing..thank you...sailor

I'm sorry to hear of your experience & I do agree w/ you. It's their generic Percoset that your speaking of correct? I remember the very first month that this happens & as I was leaving pharmacy & going down the street ( I was not driving my friend was ) i opened the bottle & BAM, these bright white tabs that were identical, even in their markings, amazing what being a multi billion dollar company can allow you to get away with, anyhoo so I went back to the store & said hey whats this & they merely said oh it's the same they just wanted to remove the dye. So I believed them & went on my way, well & thought no more of it that day. The next I knew many hours later was that these were clearly not good & my condition got worse then the withdrawls started to affect me, but like everyone else I was stuck for the month, what a bad month worst. So come the next month I went to a new pharmacy & was given my choice & I decided to go with the Endocet being they are made by the same company who makes the name Brando percosets. & wow what a difference. I learned that month all that had happened & Actavis buying them out & also moving to Ireland to skip on having to pay US taxes, that alone should tell you something about Actavis. So long story short, WHY NOT JUST SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT BRAND & OR PHARMACY, WHY CONTINUE TO BUY THEIR JUNK IF IT DOESN'T HELP, IF IT'S DUE TO A CONTRACT THAN JUST LET THE DOCTOR KNOW YOU WANT TO CHANGE PHARMACIES AND MOVE ON, THIS ALONE WILL GET ACTAVIS BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT BE SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS AND TRUST ME THEY KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON, HAVE NO DOUBT THERE. Just a side note if you switch to just plain Oxycodone IR & it's made by Actavis well your still not going to be any better off, I have done this with their 15mg & their just as bad. PLEASE TELL US WHY YOU DONT DO AS I ASKED BY MOVING ON OR GETTING A DIFFERENT BRAND. As long as their are junkies this cruel BS will continue & honestly if I ever run across one of these a**holes I'm going to make him hurt so he TRULY needs meds to control his pain. I'm all with you here, I just see the headache & stress of it all & you cannot stop a company of this size w/ a million dollar legal suit, etc.. UPDATE !! Refilled my prescription and made sure it wasn't Actavis percocet and I immediately had a bowel movement and no G.I. Problems to speak of . It's been a week on aurobindo brand and it's working pretty well even though I definitely have a high tolerance to just 5/325 strength , but that's to be expected . I had to go to 5 pharmacies to great away from ACTACRAP . I told every pharmacist it's garbage and that there are many complaints against them . I also notified my doctor and he showed great interest ! For those that are ever suffering from crappy brands you must try Red Vein Kratom , don't believe the lies that it's an Evil thing , nope it will stop the pain and help anyone about to go into withdrawals . It's a god send , helped me since I threw out the Actavis towards the end of my 30 days . It works and there is NO side effects unlike our so called modern medicine . :)

I have been taking 15mg Oxycodone for some time now. I actually break the tablet into quarters and take 3.75mg at night. Last month I began taking my recently filled prescription of Activas 15mg Oxycodone from Walgreens. After taking the Activas I became very sick. Stomach pain with very bad diarrhea. This lasted for over a month, a couple of doctor visits, and a couple of diagnostics. I later figured out it was the Activas Oxy. I only take it at night and I do not take it every night. It was strange that when I did not take it, the next morning my stool was a little better, but would go down hill when I would take it again. I quit taking the Activas and got better. I started taking some leftover Malicroft(sp?) and never had a problem. Now I am out, have a bunch of Activas I refuse to take, and have a new prescription to fill and do not know what Brand to take. I can only find Activas, Quilitest(sp?), or KVK. Anyone have any insight on these brands?

Someone needs too!! This was the very reason i came to this site today. activas Complaints!! unbelieveable bad company. And they are actually getting away with it. Damn the people who are really seriously in pain 24/7. WAIT!!! thanks FDA!!!

To bad this world has come to this. Quick, fast money. Thats all it is now. What happen to testing for years? Out the window! thats why its recalls on everything. Lipitor???? Abilify?? resperdal???? really?? I know a child that is only 7 taking Abilify right now ( a child) hasnt been out that long and being recalled already. Nothing is tested anymore. Well thats what we are doing now. lol :) be safe!!! and i will go to your site and sign your petition. THANK YOU!!!! stay on it!!!!

I WAS ON OXYCODONE5/325 FROM A COMPANY CALLED AUROBINDO ,FROM INDIA THEY WERE NOT WORKING SO MY DOCTOR WHO I HAVE BEEN GOING TO FOR 4 YEARS CHANGED THE DOSE TO OXYCODONE 10/325 FROM THE COMPANY ACTAVIS WELL THE IST WEEK I HAD THE WORST GI PROBLEMS YOU CAN IMAGINE AND I REALLY FELT LIKE THEY WERE NOT WORKING THEN THE 2ND WEEK I HAVE COME DOWN WITH THE WORST RASH EVER, AND THESE PILLS ARE NOTHING BUT TYLENOL AND GOSH KNOWS WHAT ELSE THEN TONIGHT AFTER READING ALL THE OTHER COMPLAINTS I REALIZE IM NOT CRAZY TODAY I AM CALLING THE FDA AT 888-463-6322 THEN CVS HEAD QUARTERS TO LET THEM KNOW WHATS GOING ON , THEN MY PAIN DOCTOR AND THEN A VISIT TO MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR ALL THIS WILL TAKE ALL DAY ITS JUST NOT RIGHT!!!! ok ALL FOR NOW JUST HAD TO SHARE MY STORY

How do we do this. I was given actavis for a few months during the shortage of mallinckrodt. Which work for me well. I was in so much pain. My nerves got inflammation too. I need help on this..

I have been a PM pt for quit sometime and was not able to obtain my other brand . Within 2 days of using ACTAVIS , my pain is doubled and there is definitely something going wrong with my gastro system . Looks like I will have a whole month of hell . I read up and found others have noticed that it's not up to par . I filed a complaint with the FDA and told them my experiences . Hopefully they can receive enough complaints that we can be heard . Come on FDA take a good look into these obvious complaints . Good luck to all , don't use ACTACRAP !!! :)

I went to get my script filled and CVS and Walgreens were both out said they weren't getting any until next week. I have never been given a choice of different brands. Went to Publix and they to had Activis. Went to another Publix and they had the endocot. It is not easy going from pharmacy to pharmacy especially when you are on crutches.. But I have noticed nearly everytime Walgreens and CvS have Activis. This time Publix gave me a different mfg. Alvogen seems to be taking away the pain.

I only get prescribed 7.5 and sometimes 10mg but my husband takes 5 mgs and ours are made by Watson. We have no problems with them and have never had any. Im not sure if they make 15s but it cant hurt to check on it or just ask your pharmacy tech if they do or can suggest another brand. I sure hope this helps

Even though the FDA approved the sale of BioSimilars that do NOT contain a derivative from opium to be sold using the name Oxycodone which the Definition of that Product is Required to Contain a real, natural derivative called thebaine from the poppy seeds, these companies are getting away with it as of January 2015. Please Call (888-INFO-FDA), like I have, and ask for a Complaint Form to be mailed to you. Make copies of your Complaint in case it gets lost.

ALSO: Actavis may have a new name very soon!! Heads Up Pain Victims!! They are just waiting on the Shareholders Approval.....New Name (May Be Soon)..... ALLORGAN. Find a Compound Analysis Laboratory that is not Owned or Affiliated with any Pharmaceutical Companies (Privately Owned) & ask local churches or tv stations to please broadcast the complaint so that more will call in to have theirs also evaluated if money is tight. I know there is a HUGE BioSimilar legal suit coming out of Tennessee & most of the Southern States on the use of the Name Oxycodone, does not have a semisynthetic form of an Opium Derivative in it for pain. Oxycodone = Invented in 1917.
