How Many Ibuprofen Equals 30 Mg Oxycotin

I took 1 30 mg oxycotin and felt better within the hr. How many 800 mg ibuprofen would equal 1 30 mg oxycotin??

I'm very sorry that you're in pain.

However, the answer is none! These medications are not even comparable.

Oxycodone is classified by the FDA as an opiate analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and is very potent. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

However, Ibuprofen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.

You cannot safely double up or triple up on the Ibuprofen, because that may result in overdose toxicity.

If you require something stronger for pain, it would be best to speak to your doctor about the issue.
