Even though both medications are noted to be a central muscle relaxant used to treat skeletal muscle spasms,
4211 V (Methocarbamol) is not the same as Soma (Carisoprodol). They both have a completely different chemical structure. I suppose if you had to choose between the two medications it would be a difference of side effects, inactive ingredients that you may or may not be allergic to, and personal preference on how each one makes you feel (maybe one is more effective than the other for certain individuals).
