Furosemide is a loop diuretic most commonly used to treat Congestive Heart Failure and Edema.

What do I do when my furosemide is not working? I take 40 mg in the morning and at night...it wasn't working so I doubled up on my dose and take 2 in the morning and 2 at night. I am still so swollen my legs hurt from the swelling and my skin being pulled too tight and my scrotum is even swelled up... It's the size of a small cantaloupe...
