I have just recieved the same pill as a substitute for Monopril 10mg pills. I have searched everywhere and this is the only reference I found. The 200 on the pill has me a little worried has anyone else been prescribed this pill as a 10mg Fosinopril substitute

I have been taking Fosinopril for many years, and just received a scrip of the white round I G 200 pills. I have not been able to find any other information on why this is a substitute for Fosinopril 10 mg. and it also has me worried since it doesn't look the same as the white rectangular Fosinopril.

Yes, these tablets contain 10mgs of Fosinopril, it isn't a substitute for it, so to speak, it is just another generic that is available. NDC: 76282-0200
