This medication is a diuretic that helps to remove excess fluid from the body to help treat conditions such as edema, high blood pressure and congestive heart failure.

Thus, if you're experiencing muscle cramps from it, it is usually due to dehydration, because you're not taking in enough fluid to make up for the fluid it is removing.

Have you consulted your doctor? How much water do you drink each day?
