Does Marijuana Stop Zoloft From Working Properly?
UpdatedI have generalized anxiety, adhd, bipolar type 1 and antisocial personality disorder.
Long story short, after many years and various types of treatments, things got worse, so I have been off medications for nearly 2 years and regularly have marijuana to keep me sane as it is the only thing that makes me feel normal or relieves most of my symptoms.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, I am being made to take Zoloft now. I am on week 1, but I have been consuming marijuana regularly on top of it. I just wanna know, does it stop Zoloft from working properly or am I fine?

@Trump. I am not an expert on Mary Jane. I have most of your the psych. diagnosis. you have listed. If you are getting Mary Jane off the street...You never know what you are getting. If you live in a state where you can get a Card so you can go to a dispensary they grow plants with specific chemicals that help certain issues. I understand being in so much mental and physical anguish you will do anything. I grew up mormon and had never experienced drugs ie: marijuana included. Until I was in my 40's. Then I was in CA in the North and everyone knows about the two strains and how they work so my girlfriend who has fibro had me try some. I didn't like the high..but I was so happy to some relief from the pain. I am getting my MJ Card today. I am homeless living in a shelter and have little income. But I have scratched enough together to get it. Yes I will have to pay for my 'medicine' but when I don'e hurt I can function and will be able to start to become who I have been for 50 years. The dispensaries are excerpts. and they can give you the combinations that help your symptoms.
I am sorry this was so long. I get weed that had something in it and it triggered symptoms. Just a suggestion. Yes I take my valium faithfully. The Doctors just don't understand. It is not all their fault. It is the people who abuse it... All the studies show people in true pain do not get psychologically addicted. Physically yes. We all get addicted and have to come off slowly. It is when your head craves it and you want to escape--that is addiction. I have never got high from any of my pain meds. because they take care of part of the pain. I consider suicide every day.
